Personal injury reports. Current fees are in line with recommendations from the Association of Medical Reporting Organizations (AMRO).Private Patient Referrals. Mr. Vanhegan is recognized for reimbursement by BUPA, AXA, PPP and various other private medical insurance companies.
- For low value claims under £10,000 reports are provided for £195.
- For claims exceeding this value an hourly rate of £180 applies, with the fee usually being in the range £360-480 for a composite report which includes review of medical records and X-rays.
- Preliminary reports and medical negligence cases are about £450 and upwards for interview, examination and composite reports.
- Court is charged at £900 for a full day's attendance and £600 for a half-day, plus travel and accommodation, payable in full if a subpoena is issued or less than five clear working days' notice is received.
- Where notice to attend Court has been given many months ahead, these days will only be set aside on the undertaking to pay for the full day's Court attendance.
An interest charge of 12% per month is charged on accounts outstanding beyond the agreed settlement dates.
- Standard fees range from £90 for a twenty-minute consultation to £140 for up to one hour of consultation, with provision of consultation report, being within the guidelines for reimbursement by the private insurance companies.
- An extra fee is charged for injections, application of fibreglass splints and for surgical procedures carried out in hospital as a day-case or requiring admission.
The above fees are additionally subject to VAT at the current rate.
